this is one of my favourite 45's of the moment, such a soulful and brilliant track
the a side features a version of al green's love and happiness which didn't appear on their first album called awakenings
the album is one of the rarest, even the re-release is out of print
their second album called in the basement features rare recordings, live versions, b-sides and was released on luv'n'haight in the 90's
some of the members formed the horn section of earth, wind and fire after the pharaohs broke up in the early 70's
