this next 45, elijah and the ebonies' hot grits, was released on the capsoul label in 1974
the label which featured local talent from the ohio area released only a few 45's and was around for only 5 years
most of the 45's were re-released and compiled on cd, as part of the amazing eccentric soul re-release series

elijah hawthorne and the ebonies released only a few other 45's, including the wonderful deep soul ballad, i confess/get out of my life girl released on the gitana label in 1967
